Abstrakty

Punktem wyjścia artykułu jest przekonanie o tym, że w czasie ostatnich 60 lat podejście do Holokaustu ulegało zmianie. W ciągu pierwszych 25 lat po drugiej wojnie światowej dominującą reakcją na Holocaust było milczenie. Trudność adekwatnego opisu tego wydarzenia wymaga przeformowania tradycyjnych kategorii stosowanych w badaniach w naukach społecznych.

The point of departure of the article is the conviction that within the last 60 years there has been a change in the approach to the problem of the Holocaust. During the first 25 years after the Second World War the prevalent reaction to the event was silance. The difficulty that arises on attempts at creating an adequate description of this event implies a reformulation of the traditional categories of research in social sciences.
