Abstrakty

Rola informacji systematycznie wzrasta, a w ostatnich dwóch dekadach dynamika ta uległa znacznemu przyspieszeniu. Uzasadnione jest zatem wyróżnienie informacji jako czwartego, obok pracy, ziemi i kapitału, czynnika rozwoju społeczno – gospodarczego. W artykule opisano jaką rolę odgrywa informacja w zarządzaniu, a jej brak i w konsekwencji.

Article based on empirical researches and author's observations tries to answer for interesting questions for theorists and practices about possibilities of closing (optimalising) of information gap. Author identified the main factors determine appearance of information gap in enterprises, showing the scale of their essential and possibilities of reduction their negative impact. At the end part of article, author distinguished the main troubles in satisfy information needs in polish companies, than he tried to indicate the actions which realisation should better satisfy of this needs.
