Demographic Processes in Poland During Transition.
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
Discontinuity of demographic processes which occurred at the beginning of transition period has brought about a question on determinants underlying rapid demographic changes in Poland. The analysis carried out in the paper - reveals that shifts in demographic processes in Poland cannot be fully explained within the framework of the second Demographic Transition and that economic factors still play a significant role in reproductive decisions.
