Abstrakty

W artykule omówiono wpływ czynnika kulturowego na badania dotyczące kadry menedżerskiej. Autor przedstawiając różne koncepcje uwzględniające różnice kulturowe, prezentuje pogląd, iż nie da się bezpośrednio i bez wcześniejszego zastanowienia przenosić: wzorców, zasad postępowania i narzędzi badawczych z jednej kultury do drugiej.

Two aspects of culture in management research are discussed: the first is connected with intercultural comparisons and the second with the use of diagnostic tools developed in one culture to assess subject in another one. This is the question of test developing: to use cultural specific or universal items? This paper discusses cultural impact on tools used to assess management. After the presentation of different culture conceptions (Hall, Hofstede, Trompenaars & Hampden-Turner, Kluckhohn & Strodtbeck, Triandis & Suh) the author discusses the methodological problems of diagnostic tools cultural adaptation.
