Abstrakty

Przedstawiono istotę i zakres polityki konkurencji Unii Europejskiej. Przeanalizowano współzależności pomiędzy polityką przemysłową a polityką konkurencji UE, następnie współzależności pomiędzy polityka handlową a polityką konkurencji UE a na koniec współzależności pomiędzy polityką konkurencji UE a innymi politykami wspólnotowymi.

The Competition Policy of the European Union is one of the most important common policies from the point of view of the proper functioning of the Single Market. This policy is, however, strongly pertinent to other politics and these interrelations are in the case of the EU of special importance. That is why this paper focuses mainly on the interrelations between EC Competition Policy and Industry and Trade Policies. The compatibility of these policies with Competition Policy hinge on their definition, aims and instruments. For example nowadays it can be deemed that the current Industry Policy of the UE understood as the horizontal enterprise policy is compatible with EC Competition rules, what wasn't the case before 90-ties. The compatibility of all common policies of the EU is an effect of compromise of all Member States, which due to different economic situation is not easy to achieve.(original abstract)
