W opracowaniu zaprezentowano koncepcję Balanced scorecard (BSC)- kompleksowa karta wyników, utworzona przez Roberta S. Kaplana i Davida P. Nortona. BSC ocenia osiągnięcia przedsiębiorstwa z 4 perspektyw: finansowej, klienta, procesów biznesowych i uczenia się.

This article presents the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) concept, developed by Robert S. Kaplan and David P. Norton. The Balanced Scorecard is a table of results (a balanced card of performance) that examines an enterprise's achievements in four perspectives: financial, customer, business process and growth and learning. The article discusses the factors that shape the values of the discussed perspectives. It classifies goals and performance measures for each perspective. It also discusses the issue of translating the enterprise's strategy into the four BSC perspectives and presents the BSC as a strategic activity. (original abstract)
