Wymieniono najważniejsze sektorowe i międzysektorowe organizacje pracodawców i przedsiębiorców. Analiza organizacji pracodawców i przedsiębiorców skłania do postawienia pytań: jaka jest ich rola, jakie są związki między nimi i jakie będą tego konsekwencje w procesie tworzenia polityk wspólnotowych.
Organisations of employers, like trade unions, are indispensable elements of the pluralist democracy in Europe. They serve as intermediaries between citizens and community institutions, playing an important role in strengthening of a civil society and reducing the democratic deficit within the European Union. The article outlines major activities of employers and entrepreneurs organisations, stressing the importance of their participation in the European system of interest groups and analysing their influence on decision-making processes.
