Restructuring of agriculture is an extremely difficult process. Accession to EU involves many problems and challenges. In Polish and EU economy, agriculture plays a different role. It results from much higher share of agriculture in total employment and low share in Gross National Product. Tiny farms of Podkarpacie are specific due to their unique natural values. What can be realized in Podkarpacie as part of the Common Agricultural Policy, are the following: increase of agricultural production effectiveness with the help and use of technological development, full use of production factors, agricultural income rise or sales assurance. Our integration with EU can become an opportunity for farms in Podkarpacie. (original abstract)
