Abstrakty

W pracy przedstawiono audyt jako metodę badawcza oraz jako element rozszerzający system zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. W pierwszej części artykułu omówiono zastosowana metodę i przedyskutowano kroki jakie muszą być podjęte przy przeprowadzeniu badania audytowego. Następnie zamieszczono przykładowe wzory dokumentów używanych w przedsiębiorstwach. W zakończeniu zbadano możliwości szerszego zastosowania audytu wewnętrznego w organizacji.

In quality management, environmental management and workplace health and safety systems the basic method of strategic control applied is the internal audit augmented by periodical reviews carried out at the highest level of management. That these tools are used is a direct result of the ISO standard 9001; 2000. Where the remaining systems are concerned these obligations arise from ISO 14001: 1996 and PN-N-1800): 1999. The universality of the audit method means that its results can be exploited both at the strategic and operational levels. Statistical methods, se!f-evaluation and perpetual improvement are other methods of control proposed by the quality management system standards. These methods are, however, used mainly at the operational level. The article sets out to present the audit not as a research method only for those parts of the organisation concerned with quality or environmental protection, but.as. one extending to the entire management system. The first part of the article introduces the method used. It then goes on to discuss the steps that must be taken in preparing and carrying out audit research. The article also includes samples of documents used in firms. The final section investigates possibilities for the wider application of audits in the organisation. (original abstract)
