Celem artykułu była ocena przydatności i wskazanie kierunków doskonalenia rachunku kosztów i wyników na potrzeby zarządzania sektorem przetwórstwa mleczarskiego.

An attempt to improve costs and revenue analysis in the milk processing sector has been discussed in this article. Empirical research has been conducted in the selected milk processing cooperative facilities OSM O/Bolesławiec, OSM 0/Chojnów and OSM O/Lubin in order to estimate the use of Information gathered in the costs and revenue analysis in managing an economic unit on competitive market. Financial assessment which conditions the modernization process in the integrated facilities has also been conducted. The author proposes: 1) the use of multidimensional, multilevel and multigroup costs and revenue analysis in reference with the information management's needs. 2) to apply concentration stategies in the milk industry which will allow acquisition of capital to modernize and develop the integrated economic subject.
