Abstrakty

Badając dostępność komunikacyjną na styku Czech, Niemiec i Polski analizowano postęp w budowie przejść granicznych. Zaprezentowano połączenia drogowe i kolejowe (odległości w km, czas przejazdu), ewentualność skorzystania z komunikacji lotniczej oraz kierunki działań modernizujących stan dróg i trakcji kolejowych w tym regionie.

In the contemporary economy the quantity and quality of transport connections becomes the measure of civilization progress and the condition for further development and competitiveness of the regions. The "Neisse-Nisa-Nysa" Euroregion, which joins three countries, is located centrally in Europe and should play the role of the pattern area of well developed communication network. However the conducted research dealing with the evaluation of border crossings, road, rail connections and air links does not support this thesis. Indeed, progress has been observed in the number of border crossings, however the condition of roads leaves much to be desired, many train connections have been cancelled, there are no small airports, capable of receiving small aircraft, there is no integrated communication system. It seem vital that these problems are taken up by the local authorities and the euroregional ones, there are many projects for extending and modernizing the network, also with the assistance of funds received from the European Union.
