Abstrakty

Grona są sieciami składającymi się z niezależnych firm, instytucji tworzących i dostarczających wiedzę (np. instytuty badawcze), instytucji pośredniczących (np. usługi konsultingowe) oraz klientów. Autorka przedstawiła ideę gron oraz ich znaczenie w rozwoju regionalnym. Scharakteryzowała cechy współczesnych gospodarek wysoko rozwiniętych, w których obecne są inicjatywy związane z gronami oraz jakie wnioski i rekomendacje wynikają z tego dla Polski.

For effective support of Regional Innovative Systems and for increasing of region's innovation level it is necessary to take into account in created local and regional development strategies the new form of cooperation which are clusters - very efficient in strengthening development of the area. Innovations and increasing of productiveness are a dynamic social process which growths especially in the network of intensive interactions among "producers' knowledge, agents and users (final consumers)". Decreasing role of direct government's support in industrial and technological policy suggest, governments could play only role of catalyst and agents at the process of establishing clusters. Emerging of such form of cooperation seems to be a process inducted by market under assumption that government will remove obstacles impeding their growth. Enterprise's ability to incorporate innovation and technological progress depends mostly on gaining complementary knowledge through participation in strategic production networks.
