The article presented changes in the demographic reproduction in the Ústí region. Demographic transition in this region runs simultaneously in the whole Europe. Due to this process the total fertility rate has dropped. The changes at the level of fertility rate are mostly connected with significant changes in hierarchy values of the population. The author described such factors as: natality, family, marriage, mortality and abortions. (MP)

Artykuł przedstawia zmiany demograficzne w regionie Ústí. W tym regionie transformacja przebiegała podobnie jak w całej Europie. W wyniku tej transformacji wskaźnik płodności spadł. Zmiany wskaźnika płodności są głównie związane ze znaczącymi zmianami hierarchii wartości społeczeństwa. Autor opisuje następujące czynniki powodujące te zmiany: wskaźnik urodzeń, rodzina, małżeństwo, wskaźnik umieralności i aborcje. (MP)
