Abstrakty

Two conditions must be met for foreign direct investments to contribute to the economic growth and the reduction of poverty in developing countries, or countries where economies are in transformation process. First of these conditions consists of increasing the attractiveness of these states for foreign investors, second of aiding, by surroundings in which the foreign investor is active, the positive effects of the direct foreign investments regarding the general investing conditions or the incomes increase. Muszą być spełnione dwa warunki, aby zagraniczne inwestycje bezpośrednie przyczyniły się do wzrostu gospodarczego i łagodzenia ubóstwa w krajach rozwijających się oraz w tych krajach, których gospodarki przechodzą transformację. Pierwszy z tych warunków polega na zwiększaniu atrakcyjności tych państw dla zagranicznych inwestorów, drugi zaś na wspomaganiu przez otoczenie, w którym działa zagraniczny inwestor, pozytywnych efektów zagranicznych inwestycji bezpośrednich w zakresie ogólnych warunków inwestowania czy wzrostu przychodów.
