Abstrakty

Zadaniem artykułu jest omówienie procesu odnowy budynków historycznych , w Polsce w świetle obowiązujących przepisów prawnych. W pracy podjęto próbę odpowiedzi na pytania: w jakim stopniu aktualny proces renowacji różni się od procesu modelowego, oraz jakie są konsekwencje tych różnic dla zabytkowych obiektów architektonicznych.

In this paper the author discusses the process of renewing historical buildings in Poland in light of mandatory international standards. The first part focusses on international agreements regulating the protection and renewal of historical real estate. Institutional-legal requirements for the protection and renewal of historical real estate in Poland are also examined. After presenting theory the author discusses problems that arise in the protection and renewal processes. The empirical side of the work is based on analysis of existing data, including the professional literature and the author's own research. This paper ultimately attempts to answer the following three questions: to what extent does the actual renewal process differ from the model process? Second, what are the conditions and mechanisms responsible for deviations from the model process? Finally, what are the consequences of those deviations for historical buildings? (original abstract)
