Abstrakty

W artykule podjęto próbę syntezy literatury światowej dotyczącej wpływu eksportu na tworzenie nowych miejsc pracy przez małe i średnie przedsiębiorstwa. Zwrócono uwagę na zagadnienia wpływu handlu zagranicznego na kształtowanie sytuacji na rynkach pracy. Opracowanie miało także na celu przedstawienie problemów składających się na zjawisko internacjonalizacji i rozwoju rynków pracy - głównie tworzenia miejsc pracy.

This article is devoted to the link between foreign trade and labour market performance from a micro- and macroeconomic perspective. The author pays particular attention to the relationship between exports and employment in the small and medium-sized enterprise sector in Poland. As the author demonstrates, exports can be an important factor in the process of job creation in this sector. On the other hand, foreign trade can have negative impact on the labour market, first by crowding out domestic production as a result of massive imports. Secondly, foreign trade could result from the need to decrease employment in order to improve competitiveness on very demanding foreign markets. (original abstract)
