Celem artykułu była charakterystyka wykorzystania standardu SCORM do tworzenia materiałów edukacyjnych na potrzeby nauczania zdalnego.

The article presents a standard to e-learning management. In the beginning the traditional model of project management and the analysis of factors determining the evolution of the model are discussed. This article described new approaches in project e-learning. Shareable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) is an based framework used to define and access information about learning objects so they can be easily shared among different learning management systems. SCORM was developed m response to a United States Department of Defense (DoD) initiative to promote standardization in e-learning. The DoD had been frustrated by problems they encountered when trying to share distance learning courses among different learning management systems used within the Department, so in 1997 they formed the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) specification group to create a way to make learning content portable across various systems. [3] The SCORM specifications, which are distributed through the Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) Initiative Network, define an XML-based means of representing course structures. The ADL specification group's next challenge is to motivate vendors to comply with SCORM specifications. The Sharable Content Object Reference Model (SCORM) defines a Web-based learning "Content Aggregation Model" and "Run-Time Environment" for learning objects. The SCORM is a collection of specifications adapted from multiple sources to provide a comprehensive suite of e-learning capabilities that enable interoperability, accessibility and reusability of Web-based learning content. The work of the ADL Initiative to develop the SCORM is also a process to knit together disparate groups and interests. This reference model aims to coordinate emerging technologies with commercial and/or public implementations. The SCORM includes aspects that affect learning management systems and content authoring tool vendors, instructional designers and content developers, training providers and others.
