Abstrakty
Przedmiotem rozważań w artykule jest zagadnienie reputacji firmy, jej znaczenie, czynniki o charakterze społecznym i ekonomicznym oraz działania budujące reputację przedsiębiorstwa. Reputacja jest jednym z najważniejszych zasobów niematerialnych dających firmie trwałą przewagę konkurencyjną i wymierne korzyści ekonomiczne. Szczególnie ważna jest jej rola w stabilizowaniu działalności przedsiębiorstwa oraz wpływ na długoterminowe wyniki finansowe. Posiadanie przez przedsiębiorstwo dobrej reputacji ma zasadnicze znaczenie dla wszystkich interesariuszy, choć ich oczekiwania względem niego dotyczą bardzo różnych aspektów społecznych i ekonomicznych.
A good corporate reputation possesses the characteristics of an intangible asset and it may provide the corporation with a competitive advantage. It is vital for the success and survival of the firm in the long run, but it does not impact firm value, whereas corporate financial performance improves corporate reputation. A corporations image includes the perceptions of alI stakeholders, but each of them has different needs - social and economical. (original abstract)
