Abstrakty

W opracowaniu podjęto próbę oceny zmian zachodzących na rynku biopaliw w latach 1993-2004 oraz perspektyw do 2010 roku w Unii Europejskiej i Polsce. Przeprowadzone badania wykazały, że w latach 2000-2004 nastąpił trzykrotny wzrost produkcji biodiesla i dwukrotny etanolu. (skróc. oryg. streszcz.)

The paper examines changes on the biofuels market in the European Union and Poland in the period 1993-2604 and its prospects till 20JO. According to the results of conducted research it is staled that the level of production of biodiesel increased three times in the period 2000 - 2004. The level of production of etanol increased twice at the same time. Preliminary data for the year 2005 shows that despite of the high increase of the production of liquid biofuels in the European Union an average index afuse of biofuels was 1,2% instead of planned 2%. The main reason for this situation was the fact that production costs of biofuels remain higher in comparison to production costs of crude oil and its derivatives. Growing prices of crude oil and new technologies of production of biofuels will give rise to diminishing of the differences between production costs. (original abstract)
