W artykule zaprezentowano podstawowe uwarunkowania przekazu informacji między partnerami współpracującymi w łańcuchu dostaw. Przedstawiono przykład typowego oprogramowania komputerowego przygotowanego dla potrzeb obsługi przekazu informacji między partnerami w łańcuchu dostaw.

Among the key conditions governing the way an enterprise functions is havingaccess - at the proper time - to current Information on the state of the market, purchaser's needs, competitors' actions, own results and internal disruptions. In striving to achieve market success, it has also become necessary to tighten cooperation among enterprises inorderlo design, implement and control the flow of products, Information and financial resources, beginning with the supply of raw materials through to the units that transfer products to the finał purchaser. This approach is termed the supply chain, in which the information systems of participants arę integrated. The purpose of this article is to present the basie conditions for transmitting information between partners. The author also emphasises the most important reąuirements with respect to the quality and scope of this information. Hę supplements this with a description of a typical computer program used to service the transfer of information between partners in the supply chain. The conducted research is of a provisional character and in a limited degree applies to issues of providing for the security of information and checking the credibility of the sources of information for use inconducting transactions.
