Abstrakty

Autor poruszył problem związków między inwestowaniem w nowo tworzone przedsiębiorstwa, dokonywanym przez powołane przez korporacje fundusze venture capital, a strategią tych korporacji. W literaturze amerykańskiej wyraźne są cztery typy inwestowania, które autor omówił, związane z dwoma rodzajami strategii: strategią bieżącą i strategią przyszłości.

The rationality of investment decisions taken by an enterprise is most often evaluated from the view of financial benefits the enterprise enjoys thanks to a given investment. There is usually less emphasis put on market, technological, organizational and social aspects which have a great influence on how attractive a given investment is for the enterprise. That a given investment is a highly beneficial one does not always mean that it is also attractive concerning the spheres mentioned above. What is the most important is the relationship between an investment and the strategy of an enterprise. The article deals with the relation between investing in newly created companies, made by venture capital funds created by corporate bodies, and the strategy of those corporate bodies. In American literature there are four types of investments that are discussed in the article and that are connected with two kinds of strategy: current strategy and future strategy.
