Abstrakty

Przedstawiono charakterystykę dialogu społecznego w Polsce i zaprezentowano główne zadania instytucji dialogu w kraju, tj. instytucji centralnych, branżowych i regionalnych. Zwrócono uwagę na to, że wzmacniający się dialog społeczny w gospodarce stanowi podstawę dla rodzącego się dialogu obywatelskiego, budowanego na podstawie ustawy o działalności organizacji pożytku publicznego i o wolontariacie.

Formulation of the principles and determination of the tasks of a social dialogue in the economy proved to be an extremely useful phenomenon in the phase of systemic transformation. At each level of the social dialogue the aim of the talks is to seek consensus as regards industrial relations, working conditions, wages, social benefits and such problems of the economic policy which are in the sphere of interest or obligations of the parties of the dialogue. The paper presents the structure of the institutions of social dialogue in Poland and characterizes the main principles of their functioning. Moreover, the author makes an attempt to define the role of social dialogue, in its hitherto existing form on the labour market, as a mechanism of communication between the parties. The presented examples where the dialogue between the parties supported a constructive solution of the problematic situation confirm that there is a need for the mechanism which would balance the interests of the labour market's parties in the competitive economy.
