Abstrakty
Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie podstawowych kierunków i metod badań naukowych prowadzonych od około połowy lat dziewięćdziesiątych XX wieku w dziedzinie rachunkowości zarządczej przez uczonych zagranicznych, głównie z anglojęzycznego obszaru językowego. Opracowanie może stanowić punkt odniesienia do porównania i oceny zakresu, charakteru i metod dociekań naukowych w tej dziedzinie rachunkowości w rodzimych ośrodkach naukowych, a także do planowania i prowadzenia nowych projektów badawczych. Przedmiotem szczegółowych rozważań w artykule są następujące tematy: • współczesne tendencje rozwoju rachunkowości zarządczej, główne kierunki badawcze i cechy badań w dziedzinie rachunkowości zarządczej na świecie na przełomie XX i XXI wieku, • rola współczesnych badań empirycznych. The purpose of this article is presentation of main directions pursued and methods used in management accounting research since the mid-1990s by foreign researchers, mainly in the English-speaking countries. This study provides a basis and a point of reference for comparing and evaluating the scope and character of and methods used in management accounting research in domestic research institutions, as well as for planning and new research projects. The specific issues addressed in this article include: - contemporary trends in the development of management accounting in the world at the turn of the 20th century, - the role of contemporary empirical research.(original abstract)
