W artykule przedstawiono kilka uwag na tle dwóch spostrzeżeń dotyczących związków w czasie oraz reperkusji dla procesu ekonometrycznego modelowania.

Fashions and a fervent search for ever new formal technics are the reason for the rapid development of econometrics in the theoretical sphere and the emergence of the phenomenon of the asymmetry theory vis a vis successive application. The heart of the matter concerns causal models. One of the reasons could be the absence of a distinction between purposeful and causal relations. Another reason for application failures could be a post factum modelling of dynamic processes as if the modelling was conducted in the course. The author proposes a thesis which claims that the econometrician models the solution of the process and not the process itself. A practical consideration of those two presented suggestions could reduce the number of unsuccessful applications. (original abstract)
