This study discusses problems connected with the solution of a recurrent equation. The authors examine the conditions for obtaining a concurrent sequence of solutions and the range in which the initial approximation should be situated. By resorting to linear transformation they reduce the task to a logistic equation. This procedure enabled the verification of the correctness of the deduced dependencies. The authors conducted a number of numerical calculations for the model described in the article [2]. (original abstract)
