Abstrakty
Zaprezentowano kanały dystrybucji wykorzystywane przez hotele w celu dotarcia do klientów. Omówiono znaczenie i funkcje dystrybucji w hotelarstwie oraz przeprowadzono charakterystykę najważniejszych kanałów dystrybucji.
In this article, the author addresses the problem of the distribution of hotel services. In the first part, she presents the etymology of the word hotel, discusses the definition of hotel, and explains the nature of the hotel industry. The second section is devoted to the significance and functions of distribution in the hotel industry. The author provides a definition of distribution, explains the role that intermediaries play in the distribution system, and reviews the characteristic traits of the distribution of hotel services. In the it section, the author discusses distribution channels that hotels most often use, beginning from the simplest, hotel —> guest (i.e., without intermediaries) and ending with Globi Distribution Systems, which cover tens of thousands of hotels and travel agents through* the world. The final section focuses on "non-profit" organisations. These perform» ancillary role in distribution and their main task is to stimulate demand for hotel services. (original abstract)
