South-East Asia is economically the fastest developing region of the world also in terms of knowledge-based economy. In the article the authors present the results of comparative studies of the most important economies of the region, as well as, their strong and weak sides. (original abstract)

Azja Południowo-Wschodnia jest najszybciej rozwijającym się gospodarczo regionem świata, również w sensie gospodarki opartej na wiedzy. W tym artykule przedstawiono i opisano najważniejsze gospodarki tego regionu oraz wskazano słabe i silne strony dla poprawy ich konkurencyjności. (abstrakt oryginalny)
