Abstrakty
Artykuł omawia mikroekonomiczne podstawy analizy korzyści indywidualnych i społecznych oraz efektów zewnętrznych związanych z kapitałem ludzkim. Przyjęto, że kapitał ludzki można utożsamić z poziomem wykształcenia jednostki. Artykuł ma charakter przeglądowy – zawiera liczne odwołania do badań empirycznych. Autor przedstawia spójną metodę kwantyfikacji poszczególnych rodzajów efektów zewnętrznych wynikających z zastosowań kapitału ludzkiego oraz teoretyczne rozważania dotyczące specyfikacji makroekonomicznych modeli wzrostu, wykorzystujących kapitał ludzki. The author presents microeconomic foundations of analysis of individual and societal benefits as well as of the external effects associated with human capital. This review article is based on frequent references to the results of empirical research. It had been assumed that human capital can be expressed in terms of individual's level of education. The author proposes a coherent method of quantification of the separate external effects resulting from the implementation of human capital and shares thoughts on the specification of human capital incorporating macroeconomic growth models.
