"Offshoring" usług - kolejny etap globalizacji produkcji w sektorze usługowym

Abstrakty

Autor pisze, że gwałtowny rozwój technologii informacyjnych i komunikacyjnych, pojawienie się Internetu i standaryzacja metod wytwarzania usług umożliwiły rozłożenie produkcji niektórych usług na etapy i zadania, wobec czego ich produkcja nie musi być już ograniczona do jednego kraju. Jego zdaniem globalizacja produkcji usług jest procesem nieodwracalnym. I choć nie da się jeszcze bezpośrednio i precyzyjnie określić skali i skutków ekonomicznych procesu offshoringu usług, to z dostępnych danych można wyciągnąć wniosek, iż delokalizacja produkcji usług w najbliższych latach ulegnie zarówno pogłębieniu, jak i rozszerzeniu. Autor twierdzi, że rodzący się z tego procesu nowy międzynarodowy podział pracy w produkcji usług jest kolejnym etapem globalizacji gospodarczej.
