Abstrakty

Zaprezentowano tendencje rozwojowe, wielkość i strukturę zagranicznej turystyki przyjazdowej do Rumunii w latach od 2000 do 2005 roku. Ukazano również możliwości jej rozwoju. Przedstawiono atrakcyjność turystyczną Rumunii opisując walory przyrodnicze i antropogeniczne. Omówiono motywy i miejsca docelowe przyjazdów, oraz preferowane formy zakwaterowania.

In this article, the author presents development conditions in Romania and analyses inward tourism to that country. In the introduction, she describes the natural values of Romania with particular emphasis on the Carpathian Mountains, the Danube Delta and the Black Sea, as well as man-made features, i.e., castles, museums, churches, theatres and operas located in regional cities. Tourist attractions also include skiing areas, among others, the most famous one - Braszov. Another section of the article contains an analysis of inward tourism, taking into account such criteria as: continent and country of origin, selected means of transportation, destination, and form of accommodation. The author uses tables to show that the 2000-2002 period saw a steady decrease in inward tourism to Romania. The present political situation, development of the accommodation infrastructure, and promotion of Romania's most famous tourist spots in the foreign media, give hope for future. (original abstract)
