Zaprezentowano model wielostopniowego i wieloblokowego rachunku kosztów zmiennych zastosowany w kopalni piasku. Omówiono zasady wyceny obrotu wewnętrznego oraz problem opracowania i wdrożenia systemu sprawozdawczości wewnętrznej.

The paper presents a multi-extended and multi-block cost account of variable costs (also referred to as a responsibility account) applied in a sand pit operation. The key steering and decision-making value is the coverage margin. The implementation of this account requires a clear-cut identification of the company's responsibility centers as well as the assigning to those centers of independent decision-making levels through setting objectives and defining relevant tasks. The application of the account results from the necessity of the continuous monitoring of company costs in view of stiff market competition and the threat of decreasing market share. Such an account is a tool for monitoring company performance. Information obtained from the responsibility account is significant in terms of rational management and decision-making processes.
