It is crucial to develop correct project assumptions for successfully working logistics information system. The problem seems to be even more important when one considers the cost of LIS implementation. Companies are willing to pay and implement only those information systems, which meet their needs and/or improve their relations with customers. The aim of the paper was to present the project assumptions for developing logistics information system. (original abstract)
