Abstrakty
Współczesne pokolenia ludzi młodych, przedstawiciele generacji X i Y zdecydowanie odbiegają od tego, co dla ich rodziców (generacja baby-boom) czy dziadków (generacja cicha) stanowiło normę. To pokolenie, dla którego dzięki nowej technologii przestrzeń i czas przestają wytyczać sztywne granice funkcjonowania jednostki (także zawodowego), a wiedza stanowi klucz do sukcesu (indywidualnego i organizacyjnego). Autorka skupiła uwagę nad teraźniejszym i przyszłym charakterze organizacji zatrudniającej ludzi z pokolenia X i Y oraz omówiła elastyczne formy zatrudnienia i ich znaczenie w realizacji tzw. nowej kariery.

Several external factors have come together over the past decade to impact the nature of world of work and organizations. These factors raise important challenges for the career management and the way of career thinking; especially among young people. In this paper the author presents a short characteristic of generation X and Y and tries to explore how changes in employment affect the world of post-corporate careers. (original abstract)
