Theory of Experiment with Taguchi Method
Języki publikacji
Abstrakty
Quality management is one of the hottest topics in the business world today. Quality of products and services, as an important element of international competition, more and more frequently decides about success of a firm. The basic purpose of production is to obtain a product with desirable features. Most manufacturing processes do not produce completely identical characteristics for successive units of the same product. There are many different reasons for manufacturing variability. Product design has a significant impact on manufacturing variability. Stability of the manufacturing process is necessary and requires minimizing feature variability as regards the desirable target. This means reduction of the process sensitivity to identified sources of variability influence. To achieve this state, the mathematical models of proper processes are used. Here the theory of experiment can be applicable with the use of Taguchi Method. (original abstract)
