Dokonano przeglądu literatury dotyczącej synchronizacji cykli koniunkturalnych, a następnie, wykorzystując dane statystyczne, zanalizowano zbieżność cykli koniunkturalnych poszczególnych województw zarówno z Polską, jak i ze strefą euro.

The paper aims at drawing attention to the issue of regional business cycle synchronization, both with aggregate Poland's business cycle and with the business cycle of the eurozone. Using regional LFS employment data, it is found that regional differentials in terms of business cycle synchronization are large. Moreover, several regions surprisingly turned out to be more synchronized with eurozone than with Poland, which is especially astonishing in case of some eastern regions, neither structurally similar nor strongly linked by trade to the eurozone.
