Abstrakty

Przedstawiono ogólną charakterystykę handlu Polski i Litwy z UE, strukturę towarową eksportu i importu Polski i Litwy, intensywność handlu z UE, koncentrację produktową handlu, handel wewnątrzgałęziowy i międzygałęziowy, przewagi komparatywne i specjalizację oraz podobieństwo i komplementarność struktur handlu.

The main aim of this paper is to present possibilities of international trade analysis based on easily computable indicators as RCAS, IIT, TI, ESI and others, which are not to often used in polish literature. This was done on the example of Poland's and Lithuania's trade with European Union. In the paper author shows, that both economies are generally not competitive on the common market, both have difficulties in finding their place on the field of cooperation with European partners. On the other hand each one is rather quickly changing its position, and Poland is currently more advanced in that process. (original abstract)
