Artykuł jest próbą syntetycznego ujęcia typologii gospodarstw agroturystycznych i jej wpływu na efektywność gospodarowania zasobami materialnymi i zasobami pracy. Dokonano oceny przydatności gospodarstw agroturystycznych pod względem potrzeb usługodawców i usługobiorców opracowanej typologii gospodarstw.

Dynamic development of agricultural activity noticed on the previous years, particularly since the year of 2000, has become an indicator of needs and large opportunities to increase number of agricultural farms, especially supported by various institutions and organizations. Taking into account the pace of development of agriculture, new need of definition of agricultural farms' typology has appeared, aim of which was to improve the quality of services and increase their assortment. Typology of agricultural farms is an attempt to classify rural farms as well as to indicate the factor stimulating demand for agricultural services. Offer described in the article will oblige farm owners to take decisions and find solutions adjusted to new reality. The most important tasks for farm owners are to improve the quality of products and services as well as to increase profitability of their business. Other aspect of typology of agricultural farms is to facilitate the choice of places where free time might be spent. It will also have an influence on farm owners who will do their best to prepare farms, all attractions, showplaces and regional cuisine. Specialization is the only way to give wide offer of products. It supports also the need of typology, which might have an impact on the increase of demand on services. Typology description was prepared as a contribution to wider researches, analysis and discussions on agricultural farms' development. Simultaneously innovative solutions were suggested. They might have an impact on the selection of place. The consistency of views on standardization of concept and introduction it in at least one voivodeships occurred. (original abstract)
