Abstrakty

Wiarygodna diagnoza problemów społecznych na poziomie społeczności lokalnej, na podstawie odpowiednich, szczegółowych i porównywalnych danych statystycznych, powinna być punktem wyjścia dla tworzenia strategii polityki społecznej. Przedstawiono jako przykład system gromadzenia danych o sytuacji społecznej na poziomie, specjalnie do tego opracowanego, geograficznego podziału terytorium Wielkiej Brytanii na nowe jednostki statystyczne tzw. Super Output Areas.

Reliable diagnosis of social problems at the level of local community, based on adequate, detailed and comparable statistical data, should be a departure point for creating social policy strategy. In Europe it is only British statistics and indexes applied to measure social deprivation which enable to describe social problems existing in relatively small geographical areas. The article presents British example.(original abstract)
