Przeanalizowano relacje cenowe w zakresie opcji wynikających z stosowania arbitrażu. Podkreślono ograniczenia i właściwości cen europejskich opcji kupna oraz opcji sprzedaży i ich wzajemne relacje.

Arbitrage is regarded as a powerful market force that leads to proper price relations. In practice, however, one can observe certain deviations from those relations, which suggests the need to take a closer look at arbitrage itself. In this article, the author presents the option price relations arising from the use of arbitrage. In particular, he pays attention to the limitations and properties of European call option and put option prices, as well as the relations between the prices of those options. One should not forget, however, about the adopted assumption of the perfect market, which means, among others, that the costs of taking and carrying given positions are not taken into account. In practice, market participants usually bear such costs, which implies that minor deviations from those relations may occur.(original abstract)
