Abstrakty

Przedmiotem artykułu jest zagadnienie poradnictwa zawodowego dla studentów. Autorka scharakteryzowała narzędzie Self Asesment and Evaluation (SAE). Jest to metoda diagnozy kluczowych kompetencji i predyspozycji zawodowych młodych ludzi. SAE wykorzystuje metody warsztatowe, doradztwo zawodowe, diagnostykę, pracę w grupie, gry, symulacje i moderowanie dyskusją.

The issue is to understand that students are very specific and diversified group. It is caused by the fact that studying is specific moment of life. For one it is still having fun, for others it is growing up very fast. Their maturity is on different level. But all of them need career advising. What is even more special about students is their abilities, competences and potential. It appears that during diagnosing the person the majority of value is potential. Searching and measuring it is totally different from standard recruitment and selecting process. That is why students do need a tool designed specially for them. The bigger the problem is the more search is done on it. There is almost no professional help for young people in that field. There exists a lot of career centers at universities, but they help to write application documents, send for internships, and do not have time for more. The Foundation of Enterprise and Ethics in Business - Incubator, compiled a tool especially for students. It helps to diagnose the key competences for easy turn up on the labour market. The project is started in Cracow, hopefully it will spread all around the country. But nothing will happen without interest of business world. It is more and more active in social field. I believe it will also more appreciate investing in young talents in the earlier stage of their education in Poland. (original abstract)
