Omówiono najważniejsze cechy techniki budżetowania parametrycznego z użyciem konkretnych przykładów. Opisano podstawową konstrukcje budżetu parametrycznego oraz jej rozwinięte modyfikacje. Dane zawarte w przykładach pochodzą z rozwiązań praktycznych zastosowanych w różnych przedsiębiorstwach.

The paper briefly describes a parametric technique of preparing budgets as a basic tool of zero-based budgeting method. It assumes the use of budgetary standards and assumptions as parameters required to construct a budget. Standards are internal measures taken in an organisation in order to build a budget whereas assumptions are externally-shaped ones. Any amount of money included in a budget should result from a multiplication of at least to parameters that are reciprocally dependent. One of the parameters should be of a physical nature, a quantity-based one whereas another should be a unit price of the former. For example, if fuel to a vehicle has to be budgeted, the costs of fuel should be expressed as a multiplication of gallons planned to be burnt times planned unit price for a gallon. This technique enables the planner to make budget more objective and quickly respond to changes in budget assumptions and standards. Important feature of the technique is also the possibility to flex the static budget. A major drawback to this technique is the quantity of data that are necessary to operate various detailed budgets. Nowadays the answer seems to be given in the functionality of integrated ERF systems. (original abstract)
