Abstrakty

Celem niniejszego opracowania jest przedstawienie pojęcia Venture Capital (kapitał wysokiego ryzyka), jego otoczenia i schematu działania, jak również analiza polskiego rynku Venture Capital. Analiza ta (ukazująca rynek od strony statystycznej) ma na celu pomóc w wyznaczeniu barier i hamulców rozwoju tegoż rynku w Polsce. Praca ta nakreśla też, jak Venture Capital wspiera rozwój gospodarczy kraju i przyczynia się do wzrostu gospodarczego poprzez redukcję zatrudnienia i kreowanie miejsc pracy w nowo powstałych przedsiębiorstwach. Są tu ukazane bariery, jak również propozycje dotyczące dalszego rozwoju Venture Capital w Polsce. (fragment artykułu)

The aim of this paper is presenting the notion of Venture Capital, its environment and pattern of operation as well as the analysis of the Polish Venture Capital market. The analysis (looking at the market from statistical point of view) attempts to help in setting barriers and impediments of development of this particular market in Poland. This paper also specifies how Venture Capital (high risk capital) supports the country's economic development and adds to economic growth through reducing employment and creating workplaces in newly-established enterprises. Also barriers to as well as suggestions concerning further development of Venture Capital in Poland have been presented. (original abstract)
