Abstrakty

Artykuł porusza trudności oraz problemy napotkane w procesie przejściowym sektora finansowego Wietnamu, z podporządkowanego działaniom oraz celom rządowym do autonomicznego sektora zarządzanego siłami rynkowymi oraz naciskami konkurencyjności. Zaprezentowano w nim opisową analizę tego procesu, uświadomiono długą drogę zmian rynku finansowego ze skoordynowanego centralnie do gospodarki rynkowej Wietnamu. (fragment artykułu)

For the last two decades Vietnam has made significant progress in economic development. Introducing reforms which initiated transformation of the economy from the centrally planned to the market system has been one of the main factors of economic growth and social development. In the process of transformation of the economy in Vietnam an important role has been, and still is, played by financial sector, mainly due to its close connections with state enterprises. At present Vietnam intends to direct the financial sector towards the market economy in order to increase savings, diversify the risk and allocate resources in the economy. It is worth underlying that the already introduced and planned reforms of the financial sector have also opened the possibility to initiate deeper and more structural breakthrough in the way the Vietnamese economy is managed. This article presents a descriptive analysis of the process, makes the readers aware of the long way of changes in the Vietnam's financial market, from the centrally coordinated to the market economy. During this time new markets, new institutions and appropriate laws have emerged.(original abstract)
