Food's Quality Promotions Programs in Poland (2)

Abstrakty
W niniejszym artykule omówiono kolejne programy promocji żywności i jakości w Polsce. Zaprezentowano towarzystwa, stowarzyszenia i grupy producenckie. Przybliżono działalność jednostek certyfikacyjnych i doradczych.
Food sector companies to compete successfully in the market make efforts to advertise the quality of the product. To increase consumer confidence producers use quality labels and participate in voluntary food quality schemes. In Poland there are several quality schemes that promote food product and food producer as well. The initiatives are supervised by institutions that can be divided into some categories: government organizations and offices, foundations, associations, unions of producers, certification bodies, consulting groups and consumer's associations. The first part of study presents and analyzes the criteria and promotion activities of the followng food quality schemes: "Poznaj Dobrą Żywność" - Discover Great Food Label, PDO (protected designation of origin), PGI (protected geographical indication) and TSG (traditional speciality guaranteed), organic farming scheme, "Teraz Polska" - Now Poland Scheme and "Zielone Płuca Polski" - Green Lungs of Poiands scheme. The second part of the article focuses on "Najlepsze w Polsce" - The best in Poland Competition, "Żywność Atestowana" - Certyficated Food scheme, "Polski Producent Żywności" - Polish Food Producer initiative, Slow Food program, "Jakość i Tradycja" - Quality and Tradition scheme, "Znak Jakości Q" - Q-quality mark scheme, and "Liderzy Jakości Żywności" - Food Quality Leaders program.
