Scharakteryzowano zintegrowany system przestawiania i kontroli rozjazdów dla kolei dużych prędkości HYDROSTAR firmy VAE Eisenbahnsysteme GmbH.

This paper presents the consolidate system for drive, setting, locking and position monitoring of turnouts for high speed railway -HYDROSTAR® produced by VAE Eisenbahnsysteme GmbH company. The sub-assemblies of the system and their main functions are named. The major features of HYDROSTAR®, which determine the accuracy of integrated solutions for use on high speed lines are described. The paper also presents the monitoring and diagnostic system named Roadmaster, the product of VAE Eisenbahnsysteme GmbH, which provides current information about turnouts. This system is able to predict the damage or failure before it occurs.(original abstract)
