W artykule podkreślono mechanizmy działalności społeczności Podkarpacia ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem inicjatyw w dziedzinie usług, agroturystyki, rolnictwa ekologicznego, ekoturystyki i rozwoju kultury. Otrzymanie pomocy w ramach programu PHARE będzie zależne od inicjatywy społeczności Podkarpacia.

In the article are underlined mechanismes of the communities activity in Podkarpacie with the particular consideration of service initiation, agrotourism, ecological agriculture, ecotourism, development of culture and education for the needs of inhabitants and tourists. It will depend of an initiative of Podkarpacie communities to have opportunity to receive help in the year 2000 in the frame of PHARE program. (original abstract)
