Abstrakty

Celem artykułu jest wskazanie na rosnące znaczenie inwestorów instytucjonalnych w strukturze akcjonariuszy współczesnych przedsiębiorstw oraz omówienie problemu ochrony interesów akcjonariuszy mniejszościowych. Autorka przedstawia wybrane praktyki naruszające prawa akcjonariuszy mniejszościowych. Charakteryzuje działania ukierunkowane na wzmocnienie ochrony praw akcjonariuszy mniejszościowych i tym samym poprawę skuteczności systemów nadzoru korporacyjnego.

The goal of the paper is to point at growing role of institutional investors in the structure of shareholders of modern enterprises as well as to discuss the business of small shareholders. The author presents selected actions adhering small shareholders rights. These actions lead to strengthening protection of small shareholders rights and at the same time improving effectiveness of corporate governance systems. (A.Ł.)
