Na przykładzie Katowic podjęto próbę pokazania problemów koniecznych do rozwiązywania przy zarządzaniu ruchem w zakresie parkowania pojazdów. Scharakteryzowano obszary: śródmieścia, przy centrach handlowych i w osiedlach mieszkaniowych.

There is in the paper an attempt for showing the indispensable problem to decide at management in range of parking of vehicle in different areas of cities on case of Katowice. Simultaneously with the growth of vehicle volume incorporated and after our cities underway, the demand of individual users grows expensive and they are often opposite to each other. All problems are not possible to be solved using only the instruments of traffic engineering, but they require considerable financial edition. Every elaborated solution should take into consideration local conditions, also habituation and mentality of drivers.(original abstract)
