Organizational Learning Capability and Innovation - Analyzing the Role of Management Staff

W oparciu o badania, przedstawiono różnice między podmiotami gospodarczymi określonymi jako innowacje a podmiotami nieinnowacyjnymi w obszarze ich zdolności do uczenia się. Rozważania i analizy skoncentrowano na jednym wymiarze zdolności do uczenia się przedsiębiorstw na postawie kadry kierowniczej do uczenia.
Innovativeness is recognized contemporary as one of the key factors of creating and sustaining competitive advantage. Organizational learning is the process that underlies both technical and organizational innovative actions of companies. Basing on data from enterprises in West-Pomeranian region this article presents differences in organizational learning capability between innovative and non-innovative companies. An analysis and discussion is based on one dimension of organizational learning capability - management attitude to learning and change. Management staff in innovative companies are more open to collegiality, team work and employees participations in decision making process and that their non-innovation counterparts.(original abstract)
