This article presents results of pilot survey of methods of recruitment and selection of managerial staff, used in a number of countries, as well as conclusions drawn from analysis of world literature on this subject. Authors of the article maintain, that, due to differences among organizations with respect to their industry and structure, and due to the influence of local conditions on management, full convergence of recruitment and selection methods in the world is impossible.(original abstract)
